Blog Guilt

It's been more than a year since I've regularly posted.  I got caught in a vicious cycle: when I had a few minutes to blog, I would look at all that I hadn't done, get overwhelmed, and then walk away without doing anything.  This cycle repeated itself multiple times.  A few months ago I decided I was just going to bite the bullet and spent a few days putting photos into posts.  However, I never got around to writing blurbs for them.  So they just sat there in my folder.

But no longer!

I'm posting them, and hopefully I'll have a few minutes every now and then to put words to them.  Maybe not.  But it's time to stop feeling guilty and move on.

Liesl

Little Miss Attitude

Luckily it's a fun attitude most of the time!

Jarrett

First snowball fight!

He saved his money for seven weeks to pay for this space shuttle Lego.

San Francisco Zoo field trip

Drive-In movie at school.  His car was the Frog-Mobile.

First lost tooth

Danielle

Student of the Month the first month of school (even though she missed a week for the family reunion)!  Her teacher praised her math (she was one of two who passed their math facts at the beginning of school) as well as her exceptionally descriptive writing.

Quintessential Danielle

Robert

Robert is Scoutmaster.  He complains, but I don't think it's all bad.

Christmas

New pajamas from Grandma Cathy for pajama day at school

Opening books from Grandma and Grandpa before church

Finally getting to open the rest of the loot after church.  It's a nice bribe to make them be good for what ended up being an almost two hour meeting.

Robert insists on making my heart race by attaching lights to the roof, but I admit it's nice afterwards.

Disneyland

We made it to Disneyland three times in 2011.

MARCH

Fun with my family!

OCTOBER

Exhausted!

DECEMBER

Danielle finally tried California Screamin' and LOVED it.

Can you hear the laughter?

Adios Impala

What's wrong with this picture?

A mainstay of the Fox garage since Robert could drive is now gone.  It was a bittersweet day.

Friends with Cameras

We're so lucky to have family and friends to take pictures of our family.

Especially since Robert likes to photo bomb.
